Went to GatorFest last weekend to see Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers Band. We got there a little early to eat some boudain balls, pistolettes and gator on a stick. Casey Donahew Band was playing ahead of Wade Bowen and they kicked azz.

They have a sound somewhat similar to Cross Canadian Ragweed. Cranking out strong guitar riffs and powerful drum beats they're a little more toward rock than old school country, but definitely have a Texas country sound. I enjoyed the live experience as they really kept the audience involved.

I've always heard if you want to play in Texas you've got to have a fiddle in the band. Casey says if you wanna play in Texas you've gotta have a brotha in the band. And sure 'nuf that brutha was burnin up the drums.
