Hello and welcome to this week's beer review. This week I picked a beer I never heard of....Land Shark Lager.
Land Shark Lager is a beer brewed by Anheuser-Busch and marketed as a part of Jimmy Buffett's "Margaritaville" brand. Land Shark Lager is brewed with a secret blend of 17 herbs and spices. Umm….herbs, nice. :D I was surprise by how smooth this beer was, very simlar I think to Corona, taste, color and smell are very simlar. For a six pack, it was a little pricey at $8.00 per six pack. It contains 4.7% ABV and 150 calories per 12oz. Hey Cwheed you might want to stay away from this beer since you are scared of beer calories, fatass! :D This beer currently holds naming rights for Land Shark Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins and Miami Hurricanes football team, for at least this season, they are know for re-naming that place every year just about. In all seriousness this was a good beer and if you need a drinking buddy and got a fridge full of Land Shark, then holla at Jr. So this weekend when your at the store getting every thing you need to watch you pro football team returing to the gridiron go on and catch your self a few Land Shark beers. ;)
